KUWAIT CITY, June 27: Kuwait Medical Association (KMA) President Dr Ahmad Al-Enezi announced that KMA has filed four complaints against people who allegedly violated the dignity of doctors and the medical profession . In a statement, Al-Enezi said he totally rejects the violation of the dignity of doctors through false information and malicious rumors, and warned that such abuses threaten the country’s health security. He called on civil society to stand up for his sons working in all technical fields, especially medical staff who are working to save lives under the current exceptional circumstances as the country and the whole world battle the Covid-19 pandemic.
He said that medical information related to the “Covid-19” virus is accessible to everyone with evidence and refutes all rumors and personal whims, so it is not acceptable to undermine the dignity of doctors and hand over question their efforts and their important and effective role in protecting the health and safety of society. He stressed that the ethics of the medical profession is the basis of presentation and communication with the community, stressing that the KMA is always keen to take legal steps to deter anyone who might offend the “medical profession” and the health security of the country.
